# Nile Nav Login Guide

### For Installers & Technicians

This step-by-step guide helps you activate your account, set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and log into the Nile Nav app successfully.

## Step 1: Installer Onboarding

- Based on your **tenant type** (Customer Technician, MSP Technician, or Partner Technician), your admin must onboard you first. Reference: [Installer and Technician Access Guide](https://partnerdocs.nilesecure.com/nile-nav-installer-and-technician-access-guide)
- Once onboarded, you’ll see this confirmation message in green:
  **“Successfully signed up the tenant. Please check your email account for instructions on how to proceed.”**

## Step 2: Activate Your Account

1. Check your email for a message *from* **Nile Support** *titled* **“Welcome to Nile.”**
2. Click the **Activate your account** link in the email.

## Step 3: Set Your Password

1. On the Password Reset screen, enter and confirm your new password.
2. Click **Reset Password**.

## Step 4: Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

You must set up MFA using **either Google Authenticator or Okta Verify**.

### Option A: Google Authenticator

1. Click **Setup** for Google Authenticator.
2. Choose your device: **Android** or **iOS**.
3. Download the **Google Authenticator** app from the App Store or Play Store.
4. Click **Next** on your browser.
5. In the app, tap **+** and choose:
   - **Scan a QR code** (recommended), or
   - **Enter a setup key** manually (if unable to scan).
6. For manual entry:
   - Enter your **account name** and the **secret key** shown on the screen.

### Option B: Okta Verify

1. Download the **Okta Verify** app.
2. Choose **Account Type**: *Organization* or *Other*.
3. Either:
   - Click **Ready to scan**, and scan the QR code, or
   - Click **Don’t scan** to get the **secret key**.
4. Tap **Enter key manually** in the app and input:
   - **Account name**
   - **Secret key**

## Step 5: Complete MFA Setup

1. Back in your browser, click **Next**.
2. Enter the **6-digit code** from your authenticator app.
3. You should see a **green checkmark** confirming MFA setup.
4. Click **Finish**.

## Step 6: Log into Nile Nav

1. Download the **Nile Nav** app from the App Store or Play Store.
2. Open the app.
3. Select your **region**: *Rest of the World* or *Middle East*, then tap **Continue**.
4. Tap **Login**.
5. Enter your **username** and tap **Next**.
6. Enter your **password** and tap **Sign In**.
7. Enter the **MFA code** from your authentication app and tap **Verify**.

## Step 7: Start Using Nile Nav

- You will land on the **Jobs screen**, with the **In-Progress** tab active.
- If no jobs are assigned, you’ll see: **“No Jobs Found.”**
- Once jobs are assigned, they will appear in the **Assigned** tab.
- You can now begin working on your jobs.
